I have been trying for some time to figure out how to upload a video here to my site.  And for the life of me it seems over my head.  So, instead I am linking my youtube channel up in the top menu.  Currently there are three Iphoneography vid compilations uploaded with more to come.  One general that I did basically to learn the program I am using, another one all about me (cause I'm a girl and can do that sort of thing ;p), and the third is a compilation of shots taken at the local state park.  Check them out if ya like. 

At the beginning of every month, the three Designers that I create for release a set of coordinating art journaling kits.  This month, the theme is Explore.  Explore oneself.  I have to say that I was blown away by each Designer's contribution.  These are stunning kits! 

We all have things we don't like about ourselves.  Things we would like to change.  Whether those be cosmetic or internal.  For me, a good majority of my self esteem has always been tied up into appearance.  Or what I believed I appeared to be to everyone around me, including myself.  Through my walk of healing, I've decided its time to just let go.  I actually decided that long ago, but it took awhile for it to really set in.  Its a long lesson.  As with everything in my life, all my outlets merge....

Every year, to coordinate with the Houston Rodeo, my children's school puts on a Rodeo Roundup the Friday before Spring Break.  They all get to deck them selves out in their best cowboy or cowgirl gear.. boots, hats, jeans, belt buckles...  what ever they or their parents can come up with.  Its always something my kiddos look forward to for weeks!  And, being the camera crazy mother that I am...

I've always had a hard time stepping out, placing myself into any sort of spot light.  I prefer to hang back and not be seen.  Moving forward with my photography has been difficult because of this.  I kind of need to get myself out there, right?  I've been head over heals into Iphoneography since the app store opened up, and yet I'm just now digging my feet into the reality of what it all has to offer, socially.  Yes, I am shaking my head at myself right now, you can too.  So, I made a promise to myself... or maybe a threat?...
